Way back 2007, the remarkable fight between Oscar De La Hoya and Floyd Mayweather Jr., brought history to the boxing world. The fight lasted up to the 12th round, and ended with a split decision. It then gave Floyd the credit and owned the title “WBC 154 pounds.” Five years had quickly passed, and Mayweather will now be facing the same challenge in the presence of Cotto.

Prior to the announcement of Mayweather – Cotto fight, team Pacquiao tried to propose a fight against Mayweather. However, since they are not on the same page with the boxing guidelines. Each team tried to negotiate but it was really unsuccessful. Miguel Cotto was formerly defeated by Pacquiao on the 12th round via technical knockout. According to the boxing analysts, Floyd might see it as an opportunity to defeat Miguel. The analyst also mentioned that Miguel’s percentage of winning via KO is higher compared to Floyd.

However, Mayweather is very elusive and faster. Floyd is currently undergoing rigid training, under his uuncle Roger Mayweather. He is preparing for the power and size of the opponent. Floyd is working on new patterns to confuse Miguel with his strategies.

For sure Floyd will never let his guard down, especially he knows that there is an age gap, and he is pretty much aware of Miguel’s moves and tactics. Since, Miguel is currently holding the title, the world will be watching and will focus on if Floyd will be able to grab the title and win the fight. It’s been five years, Floyd is now ready to get the title back. Watch Mayweather vs Cotto Streaming
