The ultimate boxing fight of the year is indeed unstoppable. Both of Mayweather’s and Cotto’s team are doing extensive trainings and plans to defeat the opponent. The said fight could either make or break each boxing icons.
Floyd Mayweather is confident with his strengths and fast movements. “I have no doubt that my collection of belts will increase again and Cotto’s reign will end on May 5th,” Floyd Mayweather said during the promotional tour in Puerto Rico, as quoted by Boxing Scene.
With the statement given by Floyd, shows his determination of owning the title and to defeat Miguel. Mayweather is a real champion, by bringing home five different titles: super featherweight, lightweight, super lightweight, welterweight and junior middleweight. Mayweather is undefeated through the first 42 bouts of his professional career.
Those are the reason why he is not doubtful of getting the price and title at stake on the upcoming fight with Cotto. On the lighter side, many people salute Floyd when he helped paying medical bills for a 10 – month old baby, having a heart complication known as “hypoplastic right heart syndrome.” It is a good thing that in spite of his rigorous trainings and busy schedules, he still allotted time to do such thing.
Miguel Cotto, three division - champion will not let the opponent to score against him. His plan is not to let Mayweather think, and thereafter pressuring him to the corner. Miguel aims of getting all the possible points possible, and not letting Floyd hit him. Cotto is a man with intelligent, analyst mentioned that he will be able to execute his plans of defeating Floyd, he just needed to know when to hold up and when to strike back.
“Ring Kings,” the much awaited fight of the year, which will happen on May 5, 2012 at the MGM Arena Las Vegas, Nevada. HBO will air the said event and will implement pay per view.
